Jerry Brown and family visit and pay honors at the Vietnam Memorial in Washington DC.
Here's Jerry note of 9/26/2002
I am late as usual, but I just got the pictures for the Memorial Day 2002. As you can see from the pictures, My wife, a friend from Church, and my Grandchildren accompanied me to the Vietnam Memorial on Memorial Day. We conducted a Memorial Service on the area behind the Vietnam Statue. The big guy standing next to me is a fellow I met just as I was positioning the wreath. He stated he served with the 1/11 Infantry. Immediately after this, I was interviewed by Channel 8 News about why I was there and I had an opportunity to tell the local people that I was there to honor those who died while serving there country in the 1/77th Armor.
