PFC Kelly and CH Olmos are both on their first tour down range. “The most rewarding experience I had being in Iraq so far is being able to see the smiles on the Iraqi youth’s faces when you give them the simplest things like candy and water.”, says PFC Kelly about his experience in Iraq.

This photo is of SSG Orrin Thompson and PFC Lorenz Kaufmann who are Intelligence Analyst with the 1-77 Armor Battalion Steel Tigers on COB Adder. These two Soldiers are preparing to board the Blackhawks to conduct aerial reconnaissance over the city of Nasiriyah and the surrounding areas. Nasiriyah is the fourth largest city in Iraq and located near COB Adder in the Dhi Qar province. This photo was taken by CPT Daniel Hodermasrsky who is the Operations Captain of the 1-77 Armor Battalion Steel Tigers at the COB Adder flight line.
