Tom Rosser, Good to see your name in here again. Are you looking for the Tiger Tracks with the registration and hotel info for the Oct 2006 Reunion? If so, hang on. Our all volunteer staff is composing it even as we exchange messages. If you are looking for the one from last fall, it is here in Steel Tigers under Newsletter. If you want a hard copy of the one from fall 2005, let me know as I may have one left that I can mail to you. Do you know Leonard Brown who wrote us a message on April 19th?

Leonard, Welcome to our Association website. I have forwarded your message to a few people who might remember you and Sombrec. Give us a mailing address and we will send you a copy of Tiger Tracks, the Association newsletter. Phone number is helpful, too. Also, please consider this to be your personal invitation to attend our next reunion in El Paso this October. Details are in Tiger Tracks. Can you tell us a little more about yourself, what section/platoon/crew you were on, which journies to the boonies you made, other friends, more about your Army times? I was in HHC and spent part of my time on HQ66. Again, welcome, and thanks for writing. HQ66Tom

I was in the 1/77th during 1968-1969 Vam. I have been reseaching to find anyone that has served in the 1/77th. I was looking for a few old buddies - SSG Anthony Sombrec that I served with. Anyone know of him?? I don't have a computer, so a friend is helping me. You can reply through him. I am glad to have found this site. I am in J Malloy's photos --

Korean era veterans from any unit. There is a new medal issued by the Republic Of Korea for service in Korea between June 25, 1950 and July 27th, 1953. Contact me directly for information on how to apply for this free medal. This would apply to some of our older members like the first Bn Cmdr in Vietnam, Col (Ret)John (Max) Pickarts and those members of the 1/77 Heavy Tank Bn in Japan who were sent to form individual regimental tank companies in Korea, such as Alvin Clouse and George Goebel. Hello Everyone
My name is Tiffani Tivvis. I am a student at Towson University. I am currently doing a project on my family's last name. Unfortunately my grandpop (John F. Tivvis Junior), passed away last year and I was never able to ask him about my family roots. I have been researching my last name and have found thirty Tivvis's all of whom live in Maryland except for two (INTERESTING)! I believe there are a couple of Tivvi's listed in the Steel tigers. If anyone has any information please contact me, I would love to hear from anyone. my e-mail address is ttivvi1@towson.edu. Thank you all so much

Sincerely
Tiffani Tivvis

Chuck, do you know the song that has the chorus "I wanna go home, Lord how I want to go home"? I thing the name of the song is "Detroit City" but I can't find it anywhere.

We need musicians to play with the 77th Armor Reunion Band at El Paso in October 2006. We have two vocalists, a drummer and a bass player at this point. We need more, hopefully including keyboards and horns, but all players are welcome to join in. We will supply drums, amplifiers and microphones. Bring your own axe and tell us about your favorite tunes.

How many can we find who were with 1/77 Tank and attached units at the DMZ, A 4 and C 2, in 1969? Please reply here or to my email address.
